The threadDump files in ~ /Library/ Logs / Installing version 2019.1.2 seems to have fixed the problem. Other times, I have copy/pasted an ELSE IF block in the middle of an if/else chain and started to edit it. I just type "if" and an opening parenthesis, and WebStorm freezes. Sometimes it happens when I copy/paste code, but more often when I am just doing something simple, like writing an IF statement.
I have been having constant issues with WebStorm 2019.1.3 freezing up.
